The School Council sits within our school ethos of rights and respect by giving children a voice and enabling them to fully participate in school life and the decisions that affect them.
The School Council within the Primary School is made up of one child who is democratically elected from within each class. School Council meetings are held regularly with the Headteacher and the children bring up issues that have arisen from discussions within their classes. These are discussed and then fed back to the children in their classes. The School Council also undertook a range of activities for example conducting a well-being in the playground survey to enable better provision at playtimes.
